Hubby forces two men to rape wife

PORT MORESBY: Why would a husband force two men to rape his wife?

That was what happened in Manus and police have arrested the the husband and the two rapists.

Manus commander Chief Insp David Yapu described case as the actions of “sick people”.

Husband ‘forced’ rape of wife

POLICE in Manus say that a man who allegedly asked two others to rape his wife has been detained at Lorengau Police Station.
Provincial police commander Chief Insp David Yapu said the man allegedly threatened the 26-year-old victim (his wife) with a bush knife and forced the two men to sexually penetrate her.
He said the victim managed to escape from the village and arrived in Lorengau town and reported the incident. She was referred to hospital for a medical examination.
Chief Insp Yapu said police arrested the two alleged rapist in Lorengau town last month and later travelled by boat to Baluan village and arrested the husband.
“The three suspects are now held in police custody for further investigation by crime and investigation division members and will be charged with rape,” he said.
“The men are aged from 26 to 29, and all are from Baluan island.”
Chief Insp Yapu described the incident as the actions of people with sick minds.
Chief Insp Yapu urged men to respect their wives as their loved ones and care for them and not abuse and treat them in this kind of manner.
