Tapil said everyone was trying to eradicate or stop Gender-Based Violence (GBV) and the father is roaming around freely, and also posing a threat to his daughter. News that matter in Papua New Guinea Two shot dead in Papua New Guinea’s first General Election 2022 violence, deaths PORT MORESBY:  Papua New Guinea (PNG)’s General Election 2022 (GE22) is proving to be no different from previous general election since Independence 1975, as far as violence and fatalities are concerned. Police have confirmed that two men were shot dead last Thursday (May May 26, 2022) in a clash between supporters of two political parties in Morobe’s Huon Gulf. Morobe commander Superintendent Jocob Singura confirmed that the incident in Manum village outside Lae was election-related.
