Both Pangu and PNC add two more seats each

PORT MORESBY: The ruling Pagu Pati is still leading with 24 seats in Papua New Guinea General Election 2022 (GE22) race for control of the 118-seat 11th Parliament.

Pangu and People’s National Congress (PNC) both added two seats each in the past 24 hours and PNC still lags at 12.

With only 66 confirmed winners (as compiled by The National), there is fear that the Election Commission would not be able to complete the ballot counts nationwide to deliver GE22 tomorrow (Friday).

The return of GE22 writs have been extended thrice since July 29, 2022.
