Defence lawyer Edward Sasingian told the court that the information was defective. “It did not contain the element of the charge of doing an unlawful act,” he added. Police prsecutor Senior Sergeant Joseph Sangam objected to the application, saying it was premature at this stage and he would need time to confirm information about the allegations against Quinnie with the arresting officer.
